Cary Ann Hearst and the Gun Street Girls
Cary Ann Hearst first found the Gun Street Girls living in various conditions of squalor in the dilapidated neighborhoods of Charleston, SC in the early months of Summer. Once the temperature reached 120 degrees, and it was too hot to run away from their taunting and threats, Hearst surrendered her wallet and the last half of her bologna sandwich to the Girls, and waited to fall vicitm to their suspected cannibalism. Alas, it was too hot to eat. As they sat baking in the shade that day, they found in common a lust for heartbreak and a lack of transportation. The Gun Street Girls traded their switch-blades to the corner boys for a handle of Evan Williams and learned to play instruments salvaged from the post industrial wasteland beside the Cooper River. By the time September rolled around, they were finally well fed, well rehearsed and ready to pursue a career beyond street thuggery and seduction for money. This is their offer.... come to their show, listen to the song they have to sing, don't steal anything from them, nor lay a threatening hand on any one of them, and they promise to let you pass by in peace.

The Illuminati Outro
The Illuminati Outro is the convergence of four musician/composers, armed with acoustic and electronic tendencies, to collaborate on the creation of new music with little time... seeking to build a shaky bridge between composition and improvisation, using whatever means are available to bend sound to the will of the collective. Music may include group improv, solo arrangements for folk songs, solo improv and acoustic/electronic duets. None of these guidelines actually exist, and they will be adhered to strictly.

Caravan
Caravan is an acoustic trio based in Charleston, SC. Consisting of two guitars and upright bass, their focus is on French gypsy swing, a la Django Reinhardt…but flamenco and bossa influences are also represented. Caravan used to play around Charleston quite regularly but have been on a two year hiatus while members explored other projects, traveled, lived like gypsies, etc…they currently play every thursday evening at local restaurant, Mercato and are available for parties, weddings, corporate events, etc...
